This fresh and airy pub, built in 1926, is the perfect spot for a bistro meal seven days a week or a relaxing afternoon schooner. Clad in sea green tiles, the hotel’s distinctive striped interior attracts a diverse crowd, including a new style set, who have used the pub as backdrop for fashion shoots.
The Maroubra Bay Hotel’s pretty décor also pays tribute to the area’s rich sporting culture. The striped lounge bar features a framed swimsuit and cap that belonged to local three-time Ironman champion Barry Rogers.
