Solotel sparkles this Mardi Gras

The glitter guns are ready as Solotel Group goes into maximum party mode this Mardi Gras. Queens Cross Hotel (normally Kings Cross Hotel), Bank Hotel, and Darlo Bar are the best spots to party in the Cross, Newtown, Darlinghurst, and Surry Hills. Here’s what’s happening…

QUEENS CROSS HOTEL, KINGS CROSS
Kings Cross Hotel renames and becomes Queens Cross Hotel, playing host to some of Sydney’s favourite queens and a raft of DJs and entertainment throughout Mardi Gras. The multi-storey venue transforms into a fabulous dream-like party playground, taking guests inside the rainbow and dialing up the party atmosphere through as much sparkle as possible. There’s also a nod to the nostalgia of the candy-rave PLUR culture of the 90’s.

Next week, warm up with Maxi Shield Gayer than Gay trivia and Mardi Gras Bingo with Felicity Frockaccino. Then, on Saturday 5 March, Queen’s Cross Hotel is THE place to get your glitz and glam on to watch the parade, followed by the Empire Girls afterparty. Recover with Golden Hour on Sunday 6 March.

The Bank hosts a stack of local legends, Queens, Queens and more Queens, plus extra guests this queer festive season. If you're a RuPaul tragic, then don’t miss the Liquor Sisters hosting RuPaul Trivia on Wednesday 2 March at 7pm. Then, watch the parade live from The Bank with DJs and drag entertainment all night. Upstairs in Waywards is BRING IT BACK: The Vogue Night from 9pm featuring DJs Sallvage, Kilimi, Halfqueen and more. After a big parade night, kick back and enjoy some recovery drinks and have a laugh with Chichi & Peachy’s Sunday Sesh.
