Sydney's Iconic Abercrombie Launches Weekly Friday Party - 'Hardwire'

Iconic Sydney venue, The Abercrombie, is launching HARDWIRE: an immersive and hard-hitting full venue party focused on nonstop energy every Friday from 23 August. With HARDWIRE, The Abercrombie maintains its focus on quality curation across a broad number of Sydney’s favourite genres: techno, hardgroove, bassline, UKG, DNB and everything in between.

All three levels of The Abercrombie will be activated (from 10pm-5am) with a handpicked selection of Australia’s finest DJs including Naarm’s Lucas Boston, Hannah D and Suki and Meanjin’s Dameeeela. HARDWIRE will also showcase coveted international headliners (soon to be announced) and global event brands including the likes of beloved UK bass broadcasters ‘Keep Hush’, as well as homegrown heroes like Gallery Recordings and Banquet coming through to co-host events.

To coincide with the launch of HARDWIRE, the Abercrombie also showcases a polished new look to its Club and Sunroom as well as connecting levels inside the venue with a custom club to courtyard live stream.

A Sydney club institution for more than 20 years, The Abercrombie reopened in 2021 bigger and better after the multi-level heritage-listed space underwent an incredible transformation to create a three-level party palace. On ground floor is the Abercrombie’s performance and club space, public bar, and courtyard. Venture upstairs to the Abercrombie rooftop, a casual fun setting that overlooks the Chippendale skyline with $15 jugs of beer, $15 house cocktails.

A creative chameleon, the Abercrombie’s curated program of entertainment and events are progressive and champion inclusivity, diversity, and expression. A true day through to late-night offering in Sydney, The Abercrombie opens through to 5am on weekends and 24 hours for special events.
