CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE

 

 

Given the unfolding situation regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) within Australia and across the world, we wanted to provide you with an update on the precautionary measures we are putting into place across our venues to protect our staff, guests, suppliers and the wider Solotel community. 

 

We have been closely monitoring the situation and are staying across the official health and workplace advice provided by the Australian Department of Health and NSW Health.

 

While we have always had strict hygiene practices and cleaning standards in place, as a precaution, we have introduced a number of additional measures to reduce the risk and support a safe environment. 

 

Aligned with Government and expert health advice, these measures include, thorough washing of hands and use of gloves for food preparation, more frequent cleaning and disinfecting of all Solotel venues particularly public areas such as food and beverage preparation areas, bathrooms and handrails. Hand sanitiser will also now be available at all Solotel venues including at entry doors and bathrooms.

 

Further to this, we have reinforced with our staff the importance of monitoring their own health and if they feel unwell or are showing signs of illness, they are to remain at home.
 
For the safety and health of our staff and the whole community, we are also asking all of our guests to practice good general hygiene and if feeling unwell, to remain at home.

 

For more than 30 years Solotel has had the privilege of creating incredible dining and entertainment experiences across our bars, pubs and restaurants in one of the world’s most exciting and dynamic food and entertainment scenes. 

 

At the core of this has been our passion for delivering experiences and providing welcoming place for everyone to enjoy. While we understand that some of you may wish to remain at home during this time, we encourage you to continue to support our staff and the Solotel community.
