Terms and Conditions

 

This document sets out the terms and conditions of entry and participation for the Solotel ‘NSW Blues Jersey Giveaway’ promotion (Promotion).

 

The Promotion is conducted by Solotel Management Pty Limited as trustee for the Solotel Management Unit Trust ABN 85 498 091 676, whose registered office is at Level 2, 429 New South Head Road Double Bay NSW 2028 (Promoter).

 

These terms and conditions of entry (Conditions of Entry) apply to the Promotion and, by submitting an entry to the Promotion, an entrant agrees to and will be bound by these terms and conditions.

 

 

Eligibility

 

1. Entry is only open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.

 

2. Employees of the Promoter or any relevant Solotel venue (or their immediate family members) are ineligible to enter the Promotion.

 

3. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Conditions of Entry or who tampers with the entry process.

 

4. An entrant is not required to pay an entry fee and no purchase of any products or services of the Promoter is necessary to enter this Promotion.

 

Entry

 

5. The Promotion commences at 12:00 AEST on 18/05/2026. Entries close at 11:59PM AEST on 08/07/2026 (Promotional Period).

 

To enter the Promotion, a person must, during the Promotional Period:

 

(a) Make a valid online booking at one of the participating Solotel venues listed in clause 6 and attend that venue for a State of Origin event during the Promotional Period. A completed and attended booking will constitute one (1) entry into the Promotion. Attendance is confirmed by fulfilment of the booking. The eligible State of Origin events are: Game 1 on Wednesday 27 May 2026, Game 2 on Wednesday 17 June 2026, and Game 3 on Wednesday 8 July 2026.

 

6. The participating venues for this Promotion are:

 

(b) Albion Hotel, Parramatta

(c) The Bank Hotel, Newtown

(d) Bridgeview Hotel, Willoughby

(e) The Clock Hotel, Surry Hills

(f) Marlborough Hotel, Newtown

(g) Paddo Inn, Paddington

(h) The Regent Hotel, Kingsford

(i) The Sackville Hotel, Rozelle

(j) Woodstock Hotel, Rooty Hill

 

7. No responsibility is accepted for late, lost or misdirected entries. Incomplete, indecipherable or illegible entries will be deemed invalid.

 

8. If there is a dispute as to the identity of an entrant, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine the identity of the entrant.

 

9. Entrants may submit one (1) entry per State of Origin game, for a maximum of three (3) entries across the Promotional Period. Multiple entries from the same person for the same game will be deemed invalid.

 

Prizes and Winning

 

10. There are two (2) prizes, each comprising one (1) Tooheys NSW Blues Jersey. There will be two (2) winners.

 

11. The total value of both prizes is $300 (approximately $150 each).

 

12. The prizes are as stated, and no cash or other alternative prizes will be offered.

 

13. The Promoter will conduct a random draw to determine the two (2) winners. The draw will take place at Level 2, 429 New South Head Road, Double Bay NSW 2028, on Monday 13 July 2026, using an electronic random draw method. The draw will be conducted fairly and the process will be documented.

 

14. The winners of the Prizes will be notified by email and/or phone within 14 days of the draw date.

 

15. Winners must claim their Prize within 30 days of being notified (Claim Period). If a winner does not claim their Prize within the Claim Period, the Promoter will conduct a redraw using the same method as the original draw. The redraw will take place at Level 2, 429 New South Head Road, Double Bay NSW 2028, within 3 months of the original draw date. The new winner will be subject to the same notification and claim requirements.

 

16. The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

17. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable.

 

18. The Promoter will notify the winners of how and where they will receive their Prize.

 

19. If the Prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the Prize with a prize of equal value, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority.

 

General

 

20. This Promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or any other social media platform.

 

21. The Promoter reserves the right to require a winner to provide proof of identity satisfactory to the Promoter (in its sole discretion) before awarding the Prize.

 

22. If required by legislation governing the conduct of the Promotion, the Promoter will provide details of the winners (such as the name and address) to any applicable government authority.

 

23. The winners must comply with all reasonable directions or instructions of the Promoter in order to receive the Prize.

 

24. If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the control of the Promoter, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, the Promoter may modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the Promotion, as appropriate.

 

25. Nothing in these terms and conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports to limit, exclude or modify the consumer guarantee provisions of the Australian Consumer Law.

 

26. Subject to clause 25 and to the extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes all liability to the winners for any costs, expenses, losses and damages suffered or incurred by the winners, including any liability for personal injury or death, liability due to negligence of the Promoter or their personnel, whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in connection with the Promotion or the Prize.

 

27. The Promotion and these Conditions of Entry are governed by the laws in force in New South Wales. The parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Federal Court of Australia and any courts that may hear appeals from those courts about any proceedings in connection with this Promotion or the Conditions of Entry.

 

Privacy

 

28. The Promoter will collect the personal information provided by an entrant for the purpose of conducting the Promotion, including providing any Prize to an entrant and to contact the entrant for promotional and marketing purposes, as described below.

 

29. By entering the Promotion an entrant consents to the Promoter using their personal information for promotional and marketing purposes regarding the Promoter’s products, services and events, as set out in the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.

 

30. The Promoter may also disclose an entrant’s personal information to the commercial partners of the Promoter relevant to the Promotion. By entering the Promotion an entrant consents to the Promoter disclosing its personal information to such commercial partners and the commercial partners contacting the entrant (including for promotional and marketing purposes and/or to provide information about their products, services or events).

 

31. The Promoter’s Privacy Policy (available at https://www.solotel.com.au/privacy-policy or on request from the Promoter) states how an entrant can seek to access or correct their personal information held by the Promoter and how an entrant can make a privacy complaint to the Promoter. An entrant can contact the Promoter’s Privacy Compliance Officer at privacy@solotel.com.au.
