The glitter guns are ready as Solotel Group goes into maximum party mode for Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras and Sydney WorldPride 2023. As an official supporting partner, we've got a spectrum of colourful celebrations happening across our venues. From Kings Cross Hotel transforming into the Queens Cross Hotel to The Bank's Birdcage parties in Newtown to The Clock's boozy loved-up brunches in Surry Hills, there's no shortage of parties happening at Solotel. Newtown, Sydney

Bank Hotel

Sitting on King Street smack bang in the middle of Newtown, The Bank is an Inner West institution where absolutely everybody is welcome.

 

A safe space for all, a home to live music in Sydney, a place to feast with friends and a place to catch up over a few beers a place to celebrate, The Bank will be hosting parties every night of WorldPride 2023.

 

With events curated by the teams behind Birdcage & Woody’s, each night will be filled with performances and features from people within our beloved Sydney LGBTQIA+ community.

Surry Hills, Sydney

Clock Hotel

The Clock is celebrating love & pride with celebrity guest and party curator, Richard Reid, for Sydney WorldPride 2023.

 

In a Surry Hills exclusive, The Clock is transforming Collins Street into the Garden of Adam & Steve - a heavenly, outdoor beer garden and dining precinct right next to the venue. Step through the clouds on Collins Street every Thursday to Sunday during Sydney WorldPride to enjoy outdoor dining, weekend drinks and boozy Sunday brunches.

 

For all you Surry Hills sinners, get ready for two weeks of non-stop parties as Balcony Bar turns into a den of red leather, chains and debauchery. Every weekend they'll have curated parties, boozy Sunday brunches, DJs, drag queens, go-go dancers, drink specials, giveaways, karaoke nights and much more.

GOROS is your favourite late-night venue in Surry Hills. From custom–built karaoke rooms, arcade games, DJs, Sake and cocktails there is nowhere quite like the playground of GOROS.

 

Calling all Queens, Kings, Queers and Allies; GOROS is coming alive for the Sydney WorldPride 2023 festival.

 

Our resident queen Milan Swaay is turning our venue into Milan's Pride Playhouse for a HUGE two weeks of fabulous activity. FREE ENTRY every single night. Darlo Bar is proud to announce our official WorldPride 2023 line-up. A celebration of fun and love.
 

Join us for 2 weeks of jam-packed, fabulously fun entertainment hosted by some of Sydney’s most iconic and sort after queens.

 

Expect the likes of Felicity Frockaccino, Tora Hymen and Raquel Feltch be-dazzling audiences across bingo nights, variety shows and a very special Queermas Eve. BYO glitter and glam.

FEATURING 5 LEVELS OF CELEBRATION FOR THE LGBTQIA+ COMMUNITY AND ALLIES.

 

For the 4th year running, Kings Cross Hotel will transform into the iconic Queens Cross Hotel for 2 whole weeks during Sydney World Pride 2023 & this year we won’t be going in alone. We are in proud partnership with the team from 4the.love, who will be transforming Queens Cross into 5 levels of unity, celebration, and glittering love. Each level will highlight its own identity, from the pride pub to the rainbow rendezvous rooftop.

The Abercrombie

The Abercrombie encourages and champions a culture of inclusivity, creativity, and expression, and this Sydney WorldPride it will be hub, a gateway and a party destination for all LGBTQIA+, BIPOC, and allies.

 

The program will feature some of the best queer parties and events, curated by one of Australia’s preeminent house DJ’s, Kate Monroe, and nightlife artist and curator, Xander Khoury.


For two weeks, The Abercrombie will be home to some of Australia’s best queer house and techno parties including Heaps Gay, Kerfew, Barba, SUGAR, Angels Only, Canned Fruit, Fur Ball, Queer Techno Collective, Queer House Collective as well as DJ workshops by Irregular Fit, rooftop parties and more.

Newtown, Sydney

The Marly

The Marly is a weekend staple for many people on a night out and is a go-to destination for late-night partiers. Whether they are coming for the iconic Breko’s Music Bingo on Thursdays, enjoying a boogie to some of Sydney’s best DJs until 4am, or a late-night rave in Tokyo Sing Song, there is something for everyone.

 

The Marly will be holding several events in celebration of Sydney WorldPride, including Breko’s Music Bingo, RAW raves in Tokyo Sing Song, Mardi Gras Viewing Party and also a Fair Day after party with some of our amazing Queer DJs spinning all your favourite anthems.

The Courty

The Courthouse Hotel is located in the heart of Newtown, The Courty's spirit is encapsulated in the patrons who frequent the venue, which can be seen through its raw and perfectly imperfect walls. Inclusion and diversity are part of the pub's foundation, and the rainbow steps are our gentle nod to this creative and unconventional community.

 

The Courty will be celebrating Sydney WorldPride across two massive weeks with drag bingo, Ru Paul trivia, Vibrator racing and much more. On Saturday, February 25, they will be showing the Mardi Gras 2023 Parade LIVE & LOUD on their big screens. Come in fancy dress or wear whatever makes you feel best. It's going to be fun and fabulous.

Come dressed to impress in your best Mardi Gras celebration outfits on Saturday 25 February and join us to watch the Mardi Gras 2023 Parade LIVE & LOUD on our big screens. If you're headed to the parade, join us for a drink and something to eat before or after - we're just a short walk down Oxford Street.
