Solotel Group awarded Opera Kitchen tender

After a public tender process, Solotel Group has been appointed as the new operator of the Sydney Opera House dining venue Opera Kitchen for a 12-month term.  


The hospitality group, which operates venues including Aria, Barangaroo House, The Golden Sheaf and Opera Bar, will reopen Opera Kitchen in the week commencing 22 March 2021.


Elliot Solomon, CEO of Solotel Group says: “We’re thrilled to create another fantastic hospitality experience for Sydney in this iconic location, and to further strengthen our working relationship with the Sydney Opera House.


“Opera Kitchen will be reinvigorated as a vibrant and diverse market food hall concept with Italian and Japanese menu influences. In the morning, there’ll be a delicious Italian bakery. From lunch, a pasta bar and Japanese-style ramen and poke bowls will be on offer right through until late.”


Further details on the food and beverage concept will be revealed shortly.


Solotel Group will operate Opera Kitchen for a 12-month term and is currently recruiting for front of house and kitchen roles.
